Fx, Movie Splitter and Trimmer is a tool that enables you to save sections from an existing movie file to a new
avi file. Supported input file types include AVI, MPEG, Indio Video and Quick-Time Movies. All output files must be saved as AVI type movies but they can be compressed with the included encoding tools. Requires DirectX 8 or higher.
To Trim a movie file:
1. Load the file that you want to trim from the File, New menu or by clicking on the File Name caption.
2. Select the Start Frame for the file you want to save.
3. Select the End Frame of the file you want to save.
4. Save the selected frames to a new
avi file from File, Save As or by clicking on the Save As caption.
5. Play the new file to see if the results are what you expected.
