You

especially you don't want to send it away or to hand it over to any
transfer company unknown to you?


In this
case you have the possibility to play the movie film and to record it
using a video camera. Generally this method has two drawbacks:
The
resulting video will show a, flicker with a rate of about 4 cycles
per second because the playback frame rate of the movie is different
from the recording frame rate of the video. Adjusting the movie frame
rate to the video frame rate will change the original speed. This is
especially annoying, if you transfer movies with soundtrack.
Also in
most cases there will be a visible hot spot. This results from the
facts that there passes more light through the centre of the lenses
than through the outer areas. Having a chain of three lenses (movie
camera – movie projector – video camera) this may result
in a remarkable effect which best is removed by means of our
sophisticated mathematical algorithm.

movies have a volume of more than 1 GB. For automatically cutting
them into feasible pieces we created the Cinevid-Separator. It cuts
the movie into pieces which then can be automatically processed by
the batch mode of CineVid FullPlus. Naturally it does not cut
anywhere but only at the scene borders.
