It lets you digitally extract ("rip") tracks from your audio compact discs and save them as CD-quality WAV files. When you use ACXtractor you will have an exact copy of the audio track without losing the quality.

If you have Lame-, Gogo-, or Blade-encoder (free mp3 conversion utility), you can convert tracks to MP3 format. With the Vorbis-encoder (supported since version 2.94.18) you can convert to OGG format.
